It started with
“why is this so hard?”

I needed to compare Excel files and find the changes that mattered, without wading through all the noise.

I tried other tools. Some missed things I needed. Some felt stuck in another decade. Others made a simple job feel far too complicated.

So I asked for help. Could the software handle this? Could that feature be added? A few times, the answer was just “no.” No conversation about the problem. No curiosity about a better way.

Eventually, I thought: I could keep looking. Or I could build the tool I wanted to use.

That became Workbook Compare Pro: a focused way to compare files, see the differences, and get back to work.

Now I’m sharing it with other people who have the same problem. Researchers, report builders, QA teams, and anyone who’s ever wondered which tiny change broke an otherwise perfectly good workbook.
