Workbook contents stay local
The Windows application reads the files you choose and compares them on your computer. It does not upload workbook cell contents, formulas, images, or worksheet data. Website examples use sample data and do not ask for your files.
Licensing and updates
Trial and license validation run locally. The application does not automatically send your Installation ID or license code to support. You may choose to send an Installation ID or transfer receipt for licensing help. Checking for updates makes a web request when you choose that action; the host can receive normal connection information such as an IP address.
This website
We do not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts, account registration, or a mailing-list database. Netlify processes normal connection information to deliver and secure pages and downloads. The animated intro runs in your browser; its music plays only after you choose to watch and can be turned off. No microphone access is used.
Support messages
Email sent to support@workbookcomparepro.com is forwarded through Porkbun to workbookcomparepro@gmail.com. Porkbun and Google process it as email service providers. Larry uses your message, email address, and anything you attach to respond and investigate. Replies may come from the Gmail address.
Please send only what is needed to explain the issue. Avoid confidential workbooks. Diagnostics are generated locally, never sent automatically, and should be reviewed before sharing. Messages may remain in the support inbox while the request and follow-up are handled. Contact Larry about access to or deletion of your correspondence.
