Export results and save review copies

Export results to CSV

Click Export results to CSV above the results. This records all stored file results and the retained individual differences. Status filters, search, grouping, and the current page do not narrow this export.

The CSV includes file paths, status, early-stop and ignored-change information, categories, worksheet names, locations, properties, and baseline/new values. It can contain workbook data, so review it before sharing.

If a comparison stopped early or reached the 5,000 retained-detail safeguard, the export cannot recover details that were not collected. Rerun with appropriate settings if you need a fuller check.

Save Excel review copies

1. Select a completed Different pair of .xlsx workbooks.
2. Click Save Excel review copies.
3. Save and extract Workbook Compare Pro Review.zip.
4. Open the two renamed workbook copies in Excel.
5. Use each copy’s COMPARE REVIEW worksheet for its summary and links to affected locations.

The originals are unchanged. This is useful when someone wants to inspect the changes in Excel itself. The workbook copies still contain the underlying workbook data; treat them as you would the originals.

Excel review-copy ZIPs are available for .xlsx pairs, not CSV or TSV files.

Keep a record of several checks

After a regression suite run, use Save dated HTML report for a readable, self-contained report or Export summary CSV for a compact table.

Suite reports include project/file names and paths, statuses, counts, timing, and errors. The HTML report adds category and workbook summaries. These suite summaries do not include source cell values, formulas, or images. Paths and report names may still be private.

Save the reports before changing which projects are in the suite. Editing its composition clears the displayed run results.
