Top bar and project controls
| Control | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Compare | Return to the comparison screen. The run button below the file selectors also says Compare; that one starts a run. |
| Regression suites | Open the saved-project suite screen. |
| Samples & tour | Open the sample choices and guided introduction. Back and Next move through the introduction; its close button returns to the app. |
| License-status badge | Open Trial and license. Its wording reflects the current trial, activation, or released state. |
| Help & support | Open the built-in help, with About & support and licensing information. |
| New / Open… / Save / Save as… | Reset, open, or save the current project. On the suite screen, these manage the suite instead. |
Files, folders, and running

| Two files / Two folders | Compare one pair or a folder tree. |
| Choose baseline file / Choose baseline folder | Select the trusted version or approved report folder. |
| Choose new file / Choose new folder | Select the output you want to check. |
| Comparison options | Expand or collapse the settings below the selections. |
| Compare / Compare again | Run the comparison with the current selections and settings. |
| Refresh selections… | Reconnect file or folder selections to current, reusable Windows paths. |
| Cancel | Stop the active comparison. Completed results remain, but unchecked files are still unchecked. |
Comparison options
| Control | Purpose |

| Performance mode | Maximum speed, Balanced, or Reduced impact. Changes scheduling, not comparison criteria. |
| Stop each file after | Choose a stopping count or No limit. Separate from the 5,000 retained-detail safeguard. |
| Detail rows to display | Choose how many filtered/grouped detail rows are shown. |
| Numeric tolerance | Choose an absolute numeric tolerance. |
| Compare formulas | Include stored formula text changes. |
| Compare rich-text formatting | Include formatting changes within a cell’s text. |
| Check files in this order | Choose filename order, largest first, or smallest first. |
| Stop after the first issue | End a folder run after the first changed, missing/new, or error result. |
| Delimiter / Text encoding | Choose how delimited files are read. |
| Match rows by / Key column | Compare CSV/TSV rows by position or by a unique ID. |
| Ignore columns | Skip specified CSV/TSV columns, using names or one-based numbers. |
| First row contains column names | Treat the first CSV/TSV row as headers rather than data. |
| Ignore when / matching value / Add rule | Create a rule for category, worksheet, location, property, or path. |
| Remove rule | Remove that ignore rule. Compare again to include its changes. |
Results and detail controls

| All / Different / Missing / new / Errors / Same | Filter file results by status. |
| Find file | Search file names and folder paths. |
| Files per page / Previous / page numbers / Next | Control the visible file list and move between pages. |
| Category / Sort by / View / Find | Filter, order, group, or search the selected file’s details. |
| Export results to CSV | Export all stored results and retained individual details, not just the visible filtered rows. |
| View side by side | Open the selected changed pair together. |
| Save Excel review copies | Save a ZIP with two workbook copies and COMPARE REVIEW sheets. |
| Accept new output as baseline… | Confirm replacement of the entire baseline with the new file. |
| Undo acceptance | Restore the previous baseline during the current session, if it is still safe to do so. |
| Open backup folder | Open the dated baseline safety copies. |

| Open baseline in Excel / Open new file in Excel | Open read-only inspection copies through the associated Windows spreadsheet app. |
Regression suite controls
| Control | Purpose |

| Add projects… | Add saved .wcp projects to the suite. |
| Run checkbox | Include or skip a project. |
| ↑ / ↓ / Remove | Reorder a project or remove its reference from the list. |
| Run suite / Cancel suite | Run the enabled projects in order or request a safe stop. |
| View results | Open the detailed results for that project. |
| Save dated HTML report / Export summary CSV | Save a record of suite outcomes. Neither includes source cell values. |
About, support, and license controls
| Control | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Copy support information / Download diagnostics | Collect information for a support request. Review identifiers, filenames, and settings before sharing. |
| Copy Installation ID / Copy ID | Copy the installation identifier from the License card or activation dialog. |
| Activate license / License code | Open activation, paste the code, and activate this computer. Cancel closes the dialog without activating. |
| Release this computer / Release license / Keep license | Start a transfer and confirm release, or keep this computer active. |
| Get transfer receipt / Copy transfer receipt | Recover and copy saved proof that this installation was released. |
| Empty baseline backup folder… / Permanently empty folder | Review and permanently delete baseline safety copies. This also removes pending Undo availability. |
Close buttons dismiss the current help or dialog. Availability can change with the selected result and license state. These pages document the customer application, not the separate owner License Manager.
